前言
党的二十大报告提出:“推动货物贸易优化升级,创新服务贸易发展机制,发展数字贸易,加快建设贸易强国。”建设贸易强国是全面建设社会主义现代化国家的必然要求,具有重大而深远的意义。《外经贸实用英语口语》受众群体主要是将来要从事对外经济贸易工作的学生和需要加强商务英语口头沟通技能的经济贸易从业人员。希望通过本教材的系统学习,学习者能具备较高的商务英语口语应用能力和跨文化交际能力,为我国对外经济贸易的发展贡献力量。
《外经贸实用英语口语》第五版对旧版进行了较大幅度的修订:
首先,精简内容。将项目一“Receiving Customers”(客户接待)由原来的十一个任务,精减到五个核心任务,即“Introducing a Company”(介绍公司)、“Introducing a Product”(介绍产品)、“Visiting a Factory”(参观工厂)、“Attending a Meeting”(参加会议)和“Dining with Customers”(宴请客户),突出商务接待中活动频次高、专业性强的环节的英语口语技能学练。
其次,深挖难度。将实操中可能遇到的常规性场景、灵活性场景和复杂性场景,综合设计到每个任务的示范会话、注解和练习中,以期帮助学习者从容应对实际工作。
再次,贯通情境。将旧版的Information Cards替换成任务导入,全书共12个任务都是以常州某公司出口部经理的身份,进行客户接待和业务洽谈。情境前后衔接,真实具体,使学习者能深度融入角色,仿真实训。
最后,活用媒体。此次纸质教材采用了文本、图像、音频、视频等多媒体、融媒体形式,提升学生和教师的教学体验,满足学习者情景化、动态化、形象化、个性化的学习需求。
